According to GFK data from 2017 , there are over 100,000 operating in Poland. grocery stores, of which more than a quarter are chain stores, but at the same time only 6% of the market it belongs to discounters, super- and hypermarkets. The market is still open for smaller entities.
For an entrepreneur who runs a traditional grocery, this means one thing - very much high competition. You need to be constantly striving for customers' concerns.
